A few weeks back we featured EssenC Knitwear here on Classic with Colour. We recently had “A moment with Sinéad Clarke”, who  is the designer behind the colourful knitwear label, EssenC. The label produces a range of knitwear hats, scarves, jackets, coats and other accessories in Ireland.

Sinéad Clarke is the designer behind the colourful knitwear label, EssenC. Pronounced “S and C”, it was inspired by the initials of her name, Sinéad Clarke. The label produces a range of knitwear hats, scarves, jackets, coats and other accessories.

Sinéad is a multi award winning designer, winning 1st Prize in the RDS National Crafts Competition and representing Ireland at Mittelmoda in Italy.

The energy surrounding Irish creativity in fashion, art, design and every other field has been unparrelled over the last 12 months. With the opening of Project 51 to showcasing talent with Sonya Lennon’s DAIS project, Showcase Ireland is a like The Little Mermaids treasure chest of amazing finds.
