The Irish designer showed her first collection for Spring/Summer 2013 in the exhibition space at Somerset House last September, securing buyers from Dubai and China, with her carefully crafted aesthetic. Inspired by the ornateness of Regency convex mirrors, sliding square puzzles & the photography of John Thomson’s China Series, Danielle used laser-cut leather, silver silk lamé and Swarovski crystal pearls to bring her designs to life.
Since then, Danielle has been working flat out as a fashion design lecturer, meeting production deadlines & creating her new collection for next season. “It’s been exhausting but great at the same time,” she says. …
