Located in the heart of Jumeirah, O Concept is a store which celebrates growing talent around the region. Celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan, the store hosted a Pop-up Shop with a selection of local Dubai based designers and brands.
Amongst some of talent on show was Malaak, a long time favourite of ours. Appropriate for the Middle East as well as for the wardrobe of any serious fashion follower, her highly coveted turbans were absolutely beautiful, trimmed with studs and bows. Sugar Vintage t-shirts had the perfect mix of style and tradition with Paris Hilton donning some traditional Arabic accessories. Given the popularity of the abaya in the region, the selection from designers was amazing with modern and contemporary silhouettes from Abaya Couture and Roselle Couture.
Wayed Vintage, who we recently featured, had some classic vintage pieces from nautical inspired earrings to the quintessential large pearl pieces as well as some vintage designer jewels from Givenchy. Always in need of a good notebook to keep track of things and update the never ending to-do list, some of the covers from FMM designs were great ranging from retro to red hot!
Other fantastic Dubai designers included a collaboration from Bint Thani and Amal Haliq, Nim Nim Jewels, Effa and more. Here are just a few of our favourites from the event.
