Better Fashion Week 2012

Better Fashion Week 2012

Better Fashion Week is the definition of Repsonsible Fashion. Created by Re-Dress who aim to better the lives of those in fashion, this annual event helps create awareness about better, sustainable and responsible practices within the Irish Fashion Industry. Running from April 23rd to 30th, there are so many events on to help better yourself in a fashionable way. Some of the Classic with Colour team are going to be heading to the events, watching for stylish looks, creative tips and inspiring thoughts.

In association with beauty emporium Brown Sugar, fashion and beauty have been covered, with industry experts adding their experience, thoughts and knowledge to the event. The pop up shop hosts a fantastic selection of Irish designers as well as some custom designed pieces especially for the event itself, which is appropriately located in the fashionable old garment district around Castle Market.

Guest speakers at various events include Dr. Kate Fletcher from London College of Fashion, fashion historian Ruth Griffin and talks ranging from topics of fast fashion to the future of fashion as well as mentoring sessions with Sonya Lennon, Angela Scanlon and Natalie B Coleman to name a few.

We could tell you everything which is going on but better that you go, sign up and enjoy this fashion week and better yourself, your fashion and your life.
